Mangetout, you say?

Don’t mind if I do. Hello and welcome to the home of Mangetout Studio – the new umbrella for the creative practice of UK artist/designer/illustrator Ed Tucker, based in sunny Brighton on the south coast. Having worked for many years as a freelance illustrator specialising in editorial, music and corporate murals, Ed felt the time was right for a rebrand; a change of focus, a different way of operating and a broader creative remit, in tune with today’s world and the ever changing cultural landscape.

Why Mangetout? It looks nice and sounds fun. It’s outward-looking and euro-centric yet with a nod to British humour, whilst also concealing a cheeky bit of wordplay and celebrating a spirit of omnivorous diversity. Not to mention delicious to eat and pleasing to say. Mangetout. Mmm.

Whether you want sumptuous prints, designs for licence or to commission some proper decent bespoke art, illustration, branding or lettering, get in touch and we can discuss how to make your world a lot more colourful and a little more wonky. Mangetout is a place for collaboration too: holler and we could make glorious things together.

Previous clients have included Rakuten, Waitrose, Time Magazine, Solarcentury, New Statesman, Douwe Egberts, CAMRA and The Big Issue.
